Windy Fall Engagement Session in Annapolis, MD

The forecast called for 20mph winds, but I was supposed to be driving back home to Virginia later that day and the changing leaves were so gorgeous that we didn’t want to have to push back our session. Sommer texted me the week before asking if the wind was okay. And I told her how gorgeous wind can be and that we can make sure that we just position her towards the wind for some images so that her hair wouldn’t be flying all in her face the whole time. Plus, one good thing about a park with trees is that it’s always easy to find some areas that are protected from the wind to take a break if needed.

The morning of, the weather said it was going to be chilly- in the low 40s and with wind. Thankfully, I bundled up and Brian and Sommer added a few (stylish) layers to their look. So grateful to this couple who braved the crisp fall weather like champs!!

PS- One thing I love so much about this job is getting to see how a couple interacts with one another. Some couples are more giggly, others are reserved or serious, and still others super outwardly romantic. Sommer and Brian fall 100% into a smiley and sweet category and they are just so precious together. I was so happy that so many of these images were able to capture the joy they share.
