ELOPEMENT + SMALL WEDDING PACKAGES

For stress-free planning, and a fun & meaningful wedding day experience that feels like YOU

“I just want to get married already.” – something you’ve probably said to your partner.

You’re stoked to spend the rest of your lives together but maybe you’re left wondering how to start planning your wedding day. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, cause drama, and leave you feeling like the day is more about the event and less about what really matters. But it doesn’t have to be like that.

What if there was a way to avoid those icky feelings in the first place and get right to the good part…

The part where you have the relaxed, intimate wedding day of your dreams that feels like it was made just for the two of you, because it was. And then on top of that, you get timeless photos that tell the story of your day so you can relive your incredible elopement experience over and over.

That would be a no-brainer, right?

You’re here because you want the freedom to make your wedding day your own.

And that’s exactly what an elopement is. Gone are the days where an elopement meant running to Vegas on a whim without telling anyone- now, it isn’t just about the short guest list.

An elopement is an intentionally meaningful and personalized wedding day focused on the love between the two of you and what YOU want to do.

So what does the typical elopement look like?

Well, I’ll be honest, there’s no such thing.

I’ve never photographed two elopements that were the same, and that’s because every couple’s relationship and story is unique.

What would make you happiest and make sense for you as a couple? What do you love doing together? When and where do you feel the most in the moment and connected to each other? These are the types of questions that can help shape your day.

You can choose to keep it a “just us” day and only invite your pup, or surround yourselves with your best friends and biggest supporters. You can have a romantic picnic on the beach after your courthouse ceremony or hike to a waterfall and finish the day watching the sun set behind the mountains. You can say your vows under the tree you had your first kiss, or explore somewhere new that takes your breath away.

Your intimate wedding can be anything you want it to be.

Meet your photographer and guide~ Hayley-Ann

I believe that every couple deserves a customized elopement experience -one where every element of your wedding day can be infused with your personality.

I’m not a photographer who just shows up, takes the pictures, and leaves. Planning a wedding should be exciting, fun and easy. That’s why when you hire me to capture your intimate wedding or elopement, every package includes planning help.

Because nothing has me doing happy dances more than at the end of an elopement day when a couple says that they wouldn’t have wanted to do their wedding any other way!

I’m a friend alongside your adventure from the beginning, empowering you to do what feels right for you and capturing the memories as you make them.

Hayley really went above and beyond and I appreciated that so much!

“Hayley captured our wedding day so perfectly! I found her website online, and really loved her whole vibe. After reaching out, she got back to me so quickly. We are from out of state so she helped us with every little detail in planning our day- which is exactly what we needed since I’m not the best planner. Hayley was so knowledgeable with locations, vendors, etc to help you plan your wedding day. She really went above and beyond and I appreciated that so much! She has so much talent, and I HIGHLY recommend her!”

-Bri + Mike

Why should you plan an all day elopement?

BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE THE DAY YOU GET MARRIED IS IMPORTANT.

Most of my couples choose 8 hours of coverage for their elopement day, but how much time is right for you truly depends. You shouldn’t feel rushed through your wedding for just your vows and a few photos. You deserve more. Imagine looking back at your wedding gallery and being transported back to all of the special moments that naturally unfolded throughout the day. It’s the day that you and your partner officially decide to join your lives together – how incredible would it be to be able to relive that whole day?

So what do couples do during an all day elopement?

1. They spend time with and without their guests-

For example, you can have your ceremony in the morning surrounded by your family and best friends, then have a “just us” adventure in the evening followed by a romantic dinner.

2. They do fun activities-

Whether that’s brewery hopping, boating out on the water, or going for a bike ride, if there’s something you love doing together, you can do it on your wedding day.

3. They go to the best locations-

If you want, you’ll have time to do a longer hike to get to an “off-the-beaten-path” location gem with more privacy. Or, you can even go to multiple amazing locations and see different types of scenery or do different activities in the same day.

4. They have time to relax-

With an extra buffer built into your timeline, you won’t feel rushed getting from one location to the next. You can be spontaneous. Explore a path that catches your eye. And, you can take the time to be fully present with your partner and savor every moment of the day.

Now for the part you’ve been waiting for…

Both of us couldn’t be happier to have chosen Hayley-Ann to document such a special day in our lives, our family will cherish these photos and experiences forever!

“We hired Hayley-Ann after considering quite a few photographers and it was hands down the best decision we could have ever made for our elopement! A little background on us: We are from Wisconsin, had never visited Virginia before, and decided to elope in Shenandoah National Park. Due to this, we had absolutely no connections in Virginia or really any idea what we were doing at all.

Hayley-Ann not only acted as our photographer, but honestly, she was our wedding planner as well. She generated a fantastic list of vendors ranging from florists to hotels to officiants which was more helpful than anything we could have ever possibly imagined from a photographer. Not only did she give us a generous number of recommendations, but she also planned our elopement day in an itemized schedule, which made it so much easier to coordinate with family members we decided to include in our big day. On top of all of this, she made sure we were completely prepared for the day ahead and even went as far to bring head lamps and hand warmers for us to use during our morning hike on the mountain!

Hayley-Ann is a fantastic person to work with, she’s friendly, considerate, bubbly and such a positive energy to be around. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your entire session. As far as the photos go, her photography skills completely exceeded any expectations we had for our elopement and both of us couldn’t be happier to have chosen her to document such a special day in our lives, our family will cherish these photos and experiences forever!”

You’re only a few steps away from a wedding day that’s perfect for YOU.

Here’s How the Process Works:

01 CONTACT ME

After you reach out, we’ll schedule a call so I can get to know you two and hear any ideas you already have about your elopement. After our chat, you’ll know if I’m the right gal to help you capture your day – then the fun part starts.

02 ENVISION + PLAN

Once you’re booked, we’ll craft your dream elopement together. I’ll be with you throughout the planning process to keep things super easy. A questionnaire you’ll fill out will help me get to know you two a better and will give me a sense of what your dream wedding day might look like. Then I’ll send over location ideas, give vendor recommendations, help create your elopement timeline, and answer any questions that pop up along the way.

03 CELEBRATE

A kiss seals the deal but I’ll be there for you two the whole time. From saying your vows to your first sunset as a married couple and whatever happens in between, I’ll be celebrating and documenting how those moments feel so that your photos can help you relive your wedding day for years to come!

Interested, But curious about a few things?

Your Questions, Answered

Yes, I’d love to! All types of love are welcome here. And if you don’t like that, I’m not your gal.

If you couldn’t imagine your wedding day without them, then YES of course! Many of my couples include their family or friends in at least part of their day. Whether they’re there to help you get ready in the morning, to watch you officially tie the knot at your ceremony, to celebrate with you for a dinner in the evening, or for the whole day- it’s completely up to you two. I don’t charge more for an elopement vs. an intimate wedding, so figuring out how you’ll include your guests is something you can decide as we’re going through the planning process.

The amount of guests that push an elopement towards a small/intimate wedding differs from photographer to photographer, but I consider an elopement to be a wedding that has 15 or less participants (including the couple). A micro-wedding or intimate wedding would be any event with less than 40ish guests so long as the day is focused on the couple and planned with intention.

Yes, I have liability insurance and coverage for my gear- and that’s info that I’d easily be able to send over to them.

Part of having an elopement in nature is knowing that there are some things we can’t control- like the weather. But thick clouds, a little rain or snow can actually make for stunning images (and a great story).

I’ll still be there for you rain or shine. If inclement weather is in the forecast, we’ll talk about possible backup options based on your priorities (like booking a nice Airbnb to relax and take some cozy photos there). But I also recommend ordering some of those clear bubble umbrellas that make for such cute photos or packing jackets that you are stoked about being photographed in. Some rain or snow is no big deal, but I do take safety seriously. For example, if the plan is to get married on the beach or the top of a mountain but there’s a thunderstorm, we can pivot to a gorgeous wooded area nearby for you to exchange vows. And the good news is, rain usually doesn’t last all day, so if your elopement day is flexible, we can just switch our timeline around so we make the most of the good weather.

Nope! Hiking isn’t the only way to have an adventure. Some couple’s idea of an adventure is getting married at the courthouse, exploring downtown and trying a new restaurant. It is completely up to you two! And if you still want an experience out in nature without having to hike, there are tons of stunning, easily accessible locations. I can help you find the one that’s right for you.

After you’ve filled out the contact form, I’ll be responding via email to set up your free, no-commitment phone call so we can get to know each other, and chat about your vision for your wedding day. Once you’ve decided to book with me, signing the contract and paying a $1000 retainer will make us official. The rest of the payment is due one month before your wedding date.

I love giving the best of the best photos so you don’t have to look through tons of duplicates, or photos of yourself blinking but I also don’t set a limit on how many images I deliver. Depending on the activities of your day, the number typically falls around 50-75 images per hour of coverage.

Absolutely! You won’t have to worry about a thing. The unposed, in-between moments are my favorite, but I’ll also be guiding you through our time together. I’ll direct you to the best place to stand and prompt you in a way that’s comfortable and feels natural to who you are as a couple so you get images that really feel like you.

If you don’t see your question here, fill out the contact form and I can answer it in your consultation call or feel free to email me directly at hayleyannvasco@gmail.com.

So think of your best day ever.

It’s relaxed, meaningful, fun AND you get to marry your best friend! What else do you imagine?

Let’s make it happen.
